I-beam(H-beam) is is a commonly used steel product in industrial and civil buildings. Manufacturing process of European standard I-beam:

The manufacturing process of European standard I-beam mainly includes four steps: melting, casting, rolling, and cooling. The specific process flow is as follows:
Mix pig iron and scrap steel in proportion and add alloys such as limestone, silicon, and manganese;
Smelting the mixture through a blast furnace to make it liquid steel;
Casting liquid steel into a continuous casting machine to produce steel billets;
Heating the steel billet to a suitable temperature and rolling it into European standard I-beam through a rolling mill;
The rolled steel is cooled to gradually reduce its temperature and achieve ideal structural properties.
