65Mn is the most common spring steel in China. It has excellent comprehensive properties, such as mechanical properties, anti-ballistic properties, fatigue properties, hardenability, and physical and chemical properties, and its chemical composition and mechanical properties are regulated by the Chinese national standard GB/T 1222-2007.

 

65Mn spring steel carbon content generally does not exceed 0.70%, the tensile strength is 735MPa, the yield strength is 430MPa, and the elongation is 14~21.5%.

 

65Mn spring steel has the following general characteristics:

 

1)Low Carbon Content: 65Mn spring steel belongs to the category of low-carbon alloy steel, cold extruded, carburized and hardened steel. The carbon content in 65Mn is generally in 0.62~0.70%, making it a low carbon steel suitable for welding and forming processes.
