Product Introduction

45# steel is a commonly used medium carbon structural steel in China. It belongs to the category of high-quality carbon structural steel, which is characterized by higher strength and deformation resistance than ordinary A3 steel. And its chemical composition and mechanical properties are regulated by the Chinese national standard GB/T699-1999.

 

45# steel is equivalent to 1045 in the United States, S45C in Japan, and C45 in Germany standards.

 

The GB/T699-1999 standard stipulates that the tensile strength is 600 MPa, the yield strength is a tensile strength is greater or equal to 355MPa, and the elongation is 16%.

 

45# carbon steel has the following general characteristics:

 

1)Medium Carbon Content: 45# steel belongs to the category of high-quality medium carbon structural steel, cold extruded, carburized and hardened steel. The carbon content of 45# steel is generally controlled at 0.30~0.50%, good cold and hot processing performance, good mechanical properties, low price and wide source, so it is widely used.

Cold rolling mainly has thickness 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm.
